McManaman has a scoring mentality, looking to attack early and often. She gets in the lane with a good change of pace and uses a variety of finishes; floating the ball over shot blockers, spinning around defenders, and scooping the ball with a soft touch. When defenses collapse she is willing to distribute the ball and make the reads. Gianna can fill up the stat sheet quickly with her play making abilities and draw a lot of attention as an excellent floor general.

2023 5'8" PG Gianna McManaman is a complete PG with shifty handles, high IQ, tons of ways to score, and yet, always surveying the floor to make those dimes to open shooters or slashers. McManaman has a tremendous vertical for a guard her size, allowing her to keep plays alive in the paint, grab big rebounds, or even wait until everyone else drops before she releases her floater. Her communication skills as the PG as also noteworthy as she lets teammates know what is happening on both ends of the floor. Defensively, her lateral quicks are a little lack-luster, but she tends to use her explosive steps to make up with on the ball defense.
