Niyah is a up and coming post with a strong presence in the paint. She is the type of player that likes contact and has a soft touch at the rim. Defensively, she understands how to protect the basket when slashing players beat their man in front of her. We will continue to monitor her progress and get more of a read on her motor, communication, and shooting ability. Locklear definitely has the size to match up in the post with true post players.

2024 6'2" Locklear has good size and great presence in the past on both offense and defense. She favors her right, but even so, has multiple ways to power her path to the rim with contact around her. Defensively, she has solid instincts on when to move and how to defend interior shots without getting in foul trouble.
