2020 FBC SUMMER TUNE UP
ENTRY DEADLINE MONDAY, JUNE 22
This is a 1-day event with 2 games per team + designated practice time. This event is for ages 13u-17u. Each game will be scheduled up to create the best possible match-ups.
We understand that it has been difficult for teams to find gyms to practice, so we are providing a 1 hour practice session for each team Sunday morning upon request (at no additional cost). There are a limited number of practice slots, so email your request for a practice time to no later than Tuesday, June 23rd at 10am.
Registration fee per team is $250. If you have multiple teams, registration is $200 per team. Please use the registration form below to submit your entry and payment. Spectator passes will be $10 per person and must be purchased online or by Venmo at the gate.

UPWARD STAR CENTER GUIDELINES
SELF ASSESSMENT & SCREENING
Event organizers, staff, coaches, players, umpires/officials must conduct daily symptom assessments (self-evaluation). If possible, agencies and organizations may utilize any screening methods provided by the CDC. You can also implement any guidelines you feel is necessary.
INDIVIDUALS WHO ARE SICK
Individuals - including but not limited to players, coaches, referees, parents, guardians accompanying minors, and spectators- should not attend if they have been sick or if they are feeling sick in the past 21 days. Anyone who experiences symptoms associated with COVID-19 or otherwise becomes ill during activity, must be required to leave.
Before and after each game, FBC volunteers will sanitize score table, player benches and chairs and the game ball Upward Star Center will provide sanitation buckets with all necessary supplies. Upward Star Center will provide hand sanitizer stations throughout the facility. Water fountains have been eliminated, only bottle/cup fillers can be used. Only limited use of restrooms will be allowed to provide proper social distancing spacing. Upward Star Center staff will sanitize surfaces throughout the day that are high touch areas such as doors, door handles, bathrooms, etc.
Game schedules will include adequate buffer times between games to allow spectators, players and coaches to enter and exit the facility with limited interaction. At the conclusion of each game, all participants must clear out of the area for designated cleaning intervals.
Upward Star Center MUST have a complete list of names for all coaches, players, trainers, officials, and spectators, along with their address phone number and dates they were in the Upward Star Center building. They need to keep this on record in the event this information is requested in the future.
Where possible, Upward Star Center will provide separate and clearly marked points of entry and exit for spectators.

FBC Summer Tune-Up Game Rules
14U division– 14 min, 15-15-17U divisions- 16 min halves. Halftime and 1st Overtime period will be 2 min. 2nd Overtime is sudden death- first score wins. Teams will be allowed a minimum 2 min warm up period if running behind.
Game Time arrival / Home & Away Responsibilities
Games will start on time without any delays due to no shows. Players are encouraged to arrive 15 minutes BEFORE posted time to be ready to take the open court immediately after sanitization process is completed from prior game. DO NOT APPROACH THE BENCHES OR GO ON THE COURT UNTIL THE REQUIRED CDC CLEANING IS FINISHED. Once your game is complete, grab your personal items and exit in the indicated flow patterns on signs.
Team listed first on schedule is home team, and wears white (or light color). Home team is responsible for the official book. Visiting Team is responsible for the clock. The team listed first is home team.
Clock / Clock Stoppage:
Clock will stop as per High School Federation rules, UNLESS if games are running behind schedule. In this event, clock will only stop on fouls, free throws, time outs, and during the last 2 minutes of the game on dead balls. Once a score margin reaches 20 pts in the second half a running clock will take effect. Running clock will remain until the margin is below 10pts.
Players will shoot 1 and 1 on 8th team foul, and 2 shots on 10th team foul. Players receiving 6 fouls are dismissed from the game. Technical fouls count as a foul.
Each team will be awarded 3 half (30 sec) timeouts per game. They may be used at any time during the game. Each team will be awarded one timeout per each overtime period played.
Fouls / Technical Fouls
Players foul out after their 6th foul. Each coach or player will be allowed one technical fouls per game. A second technical foul will cause players/coach to be ejected from game subject to tournament director’s discretion. After first technical foul, the coach must remain seated for the duration of the game. Any technical foul assessed to a player counts toward 5 allowable fouls.
All coaches are responsible for the behavior of their assistant coaches and players. We will enforce a zero-tolerance policy on any/all violent behavior. Any violators will be ejected with no refund. FBC, Any Facility(s) Host, its board of directors are not responsible for any and all injuries.
